SECA Race for Rec Saturday August 7th
SECA will be hosting its 3rd annual 5K Run and Walk. It is not too late to register for this great event. Registration is only $15 if you register by July 31st! If you miss that deadline you may still register for $20. Event day registration begins at 6:30 am at Memorial Park in Quarryville! There will also be a ½ mile fun run for kids 12 and under beginning at 8am! The registration fee for the kids run is $10. Go to www.secarec.com or stop in to the office and register for this great community event. Special Friday Night Bingo: August 27th and October 22nd.
Cash and prizes awarded and all players must be 18 or older. We use all paper cards. Food and refreshments served. Doors open at 6 pm and games start at 7 pm.
SECA’s Annual Benefit Auction
Friday and Saturday, November 12th and 13th at the Hoffman Building
The bidding will begin around 6pm on Friday evening and will continue Saturday morning starting at 9 am. An assortment of gift certificates, household items, sports tickets and collectables are available for your bidding pleasure. There is something for everybody. All money raised benefits SECA programs and facilities.
SECA is now accepting donations for the auction. Most items are accepted. So here is your chance to clean out your garage and help benefit SECA and all of its community programs! Baked goods and gift certificates are also accepted. Call SECA to make arrangements for pick-up or drop off your donations. All donations are tax deductible! Exclusions include: Pianos, organs, exercise equipment and used clothing.
Attention Local Golfers: SECA’s Annual Benefit Golf Tournament!
Friday, September 3rd Tanglewood Manor Golf Course; shotgun start at 8:30 am
Spots are still available; contact the SECA office to reserve your spot at (717) 806-0123. Tournament format is a Four Person Scramble. Cost is $75 per player that includes 18 holes of golf, cart, door prizes, refreshments, and a buffet picnic lunch. If you cannot make the tournament and want to help out please consider sponsoring a hole. As always, hole sponsors are needed. For only $100 you can sponsor a hole and support your local community organization! Please contact Mike at SECA for all sponsorship information.
3 on 3 Adult In-Line Hockey Tournament
Saturday October 23rd starting at 10am
Entry fee is $160 per team and included in your entry is: T-Shirt, Championship & Consolation Team prizes. Each team is guaranteed a minimum of 3 games. Games will be 3 on 3 with a goalie with a maximum of 8 players on each roster. All players must be 18 years of age or older. The registration deadline is October 18th. If a minimum numbers of teams (4) are not registered by the deadline, the tournament will be cancelled. Contact SECA (717) 806-0123 for a registration form and for official tournament rules.
5 v 5 Fall Flag Football Tournament
Date to be determined - check www.secarec.com! at Memorial Park in Quarryville
Participants must be 18 or older to participate. Minimum of 5 on a roster, maximum of 8. Team entry fee is $175! All equipment and officials will be provided. Cash prize for the winning team! Tournament will be played with a double elimination format. Official rules and team registration forms are available at the SECA Building or on the web at www.secarec.com.
SECA Holiday Craft Fair!
Saturday December 11th from 9 am to 3 pm
Local vendors will be selling holiday crafts and goodies. Free admission!
. Santa will also be on hand from 11 am to 1 pm for visits and photographs.
. Digital photographs are only $5.
. 6-foot tables are available to vendors for only $15 and you may reserve multiple tables.
