SECA Swim Clinic Friday nights at Lampeter-Strasburg YMCA starting March 19th (7 weeks)
This clinic is a great tune up for swimmers getting ready for the summer swim team season. Clinic will focus on all four competitive strokes, turns, starts, and other important tips needed to compete in the upcoming season. Swimming instruction by the SECA Shark Swim Team Coaches. Open to ages 8 to 18. Ages 10 and under swim from 6:30 to 7:15 pm and ages 11 and up swim from 7:30 to 8:30 pm. Clinic Fee is $50 per swimmer. This program is not a swim lesson and all participants must be able to swim one length of the pool. NEW this year! Register online at

Flashlight Easter Egg Hunt (For ages 11 to 15) Saturday March 27th at 8 pm
Even older kids still can enjoy an Easter Egg Hunt! Kids ages 11 to 15 are invited to bring their flashlights and recapture their youth during our free Easter Egg Hunt on the SECA grounds in the dark! Hundreds of eggs filled with prizes and candy will be hidden! Unique "Golden Eggs" holding very special prizes will also be hidden! Bring a nice big bag and your trusty flashlight. Youth Registration begins at 7:00 pm. Please no children under 11 years old.
In-Line Skating For Beginners Mondays starting April 26th from 6:00 to 7:30 pm
Registration fee is $35 for 5 sessions. This program is for school age children grades K - 5 who are interested in learning the basics of in-line skating and hockey without competition. Participants will work on basic in-line skating skills and also learn how to combine those skills with hockey. Players who are comfortable on in-line skates should join the Youth In-Line Hockey League. Skates and all hockey equipment are available for use for this program. Skate sizes available: Youth 2-5, Junior 4-7, and Adult 7 and 8.
Youth In-Line Hockey League begins April 20th,
games and practices on Tuesday & Thursday evenings
This league is for youth ages 9-12, 13-15, 16-18. (Age is determined as of April 1, 2010). All age groups are coed and participants should be comfortable on in-line skates. Participation in SECA's Beginner Hockey Program will help prepare them for this league. Registration fee includes team jersey, officiating fees, and league equipment.
Registration fee: $45 (second child: $30 and family maximum is $95)
Participants must provide the following equipment: In-line skates, hockey stick, gloves, mouth guard, knee and shin guards, elbow pads, helmet with facemask, and protective cup. SECA will supply necessary goalie equipment and practice supplies. Registration deadline: Tuesday, April 13th!
Karate: Riehl Martial Arts Tuesdays & Thursday nights from 6:30 to 8:00 pm
at the SECA building
Fees: Participants must register prior to beginning classes and pay a $35 non-refundable registration fee that
covers the cost for needed equipment (uniform & beginner belt) $50 per month for two sessions each week
($5 Sibling Discount). These classes are for school age children and adults. Beginners are encouraged to
participate. New students will begin at the onset of each month. Classes are ongoing throughout the entire year.
You are welcome to come to a class prior to registering to observe and talk with the instructors.
Big/Little Golf Tournament and Junior Tournament Date to be determined
SECA will be hosting a Youth Golf Day at Tanglewood Manor Golf Course. Children age 14 and under can golf with their favorite "Big" golfer (parent, grandparent, etc.). Compete versus other teams in various age groups. Children age 15 -18 can test their golf skills in a Junior Tournament. Contact SECA at (717) 806-0123 for more details.
